Cadillac Introduces Special Edition 2015 CTS-V Coupe

2014 Cadillac CTS-V Coupe

To celebrate the debut of the next generation V-Series, Cadillac has announced the production of a limited, special-edition 2015 CTS-V Coupe. This special edition car will be available during the second half of 2014, consisting of only 500 limited-edition units.

“The V-Series continues to elevate Cadillac, providing an exclusive family of high-performance luxury models that attract a new audience of elite and passionate buyers, said Uwe Ellinghaus, chief marketing office, Global Cadillac.

Along with the typical high-performance technology seen in its predecessors, including Magnetic Ride Control, Brembo brakes, and a supercharged V8 engine, the CTS-V Coupe will also have the most dramatic styling seen in the V-Series. This one-of-a-kind styling includes an exclusive Ebony interior with red contrast stitching, Recaro performance seats, metal pedals, Midnight Sapele wood trim, microfiber suede-wrapped steering wheel and shift knob, dark-finish V grill, satin Graphite wheels, and red brake calipers.

The 500 special-edition CTS-V Coupes will be produced this summer and will be sold for a starting price of $72,195, including a $995 destination charge and $1,300 gas-guzzler tax. They can currently be ordered with exterior color options that include Crystal White, Black Diamond, and Phantom Grey. We here at Wiesner of Huntsville are excited to see what it looks like in person!

New Buicks Come Standard with Rearview Camera

Two of the top characteristics many Buick customers look for in a car are safety and technology. Because of this, every 2015 Buick model will come standard with both, in the form of a rearview camera.

“Rear backup cameras have become like power windows and air conditioning,” said Karl Brauer, senior analyst for Kelley Blue Book. “While they’re not standard on every car, yet, it’s rare to operate a new vehicle without them. The increased confidence these rearview cameras provide make them a must-have features.”

These cameras also greatly reduce the risk of backing crashes, according to a study conducted by the University of Michigan’s Transportation Research Institute. Buick is also ensuring all 2015 Buick owners are safe in other ways as well: the majority of the lineup, including the Verano, LaCrosse, Enclave, Encore, and Regal, have received a 5-star Overall Vehicle Score for safety from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Chevy Impala Grows Leaps & Bounds in Retail Market Share

Before Chevrolet launched the award-winning 2014 Impala, the automaker’s flagship sedan held just 6.9 percent of the retail market share. Since the redesigned 2014 model arrived at dealerships like Wiesner of Huntsville, its market share has grown tremendously.

By the end of this year’s first quarter, the all-new Impala reported a market share of 14.7 percent, a leap of almost eight percent and a 113 percent growth over the sales reported during the same period last year.

Folks, we have a winner.

What has made the 2014 Chevy Impala so much more enticing for new car buyers? The sedan offers valuable performance wrapped in sophisticated design.

“The Impala is an example of everything that customers can continue to expect from Chevrolet products,” said Steve Majoros, marketing director for Chevy’s cars and crossovers. “We’re building the best vehicles in our history. If you’ve never visited a Chevrolet dealership before, now is the time.”

Of course, we would have to agree, especially with the 2015 bi-fuel Impala on its way. So we’ll see you soon then?

OnStar Advisor Awarded for Quick Thinking, Dedicated Service

If you’ve ever used OnStar during an emergency or any other time for that matter, you know how helpful the highly trained dispatchers can be. OnStar Emergency Advisor Bryan Anta was named 2014 Dispatcher of the Year by the International Academy of Emergency DispatchTM (IAEDTM).

“It is a great accomplishment for Bryan to win this award, considering the other 9-1-1 and emergency medical dispatchers nominated experience and expertise in dealing with a wide range of emergencies on a daily basis,” said Terry Inch, OnStar’s chief operating officer. “This is a testament to the rigorous emergency training our advisors go through and their ability to provide medical instructions before first responders arrive.”

“I still can’t believe it, I’m very honored,” Anta said. “I’ve always had a passion for helping people and I’ve always wanted to do that with my life. Working at OnStar gives me the opportunity to do that at the highest level.”

Though Anta expressed his disbelief at receiving the award, given the nature of some of his calls, it’s no surprise he was selected as Dispatcher of the Year.

During one call, Anta told NaToshya Reed, who was unable to speak due to a severe asthma attack, to “honk once for ‘yes’ and twice for ‘no’” to quickly discern the situation and calmly provide medical instructions until EMTs arrived.

That’s just one story of several where Anta’s quick thinking and expertise helped to save a life.

We at Wiesner of Huntsville are proud to have such dedicated dispatchers on our side. How have OnStar’s capable employees been there for you and your family?
