The 2015 GMC Sierra Denali, already a beautifully-designed, massively capable, and luxurious full-size pickup, has gotten even better for the new year model. GMC engineers have added magnetic ride control to the Sierra Denali, which grants drivers and passengers a smooth, premium driving experience. The new Sierra Denali will be the first full-size truck to ever offer the technology.
“With magnetic ride control, the 2015 Sierra Denali delivers a smoother, more confident driving experience without sacrificing the capabilities customers expect from a GMC truck,” said Jeff Luke, executive chief engineer. “The responsiveness of the system makes this full-size truck feel and drive like a luxury vehicle – and one that’s more comfortable on long trips, especially when trailering.”
Magnetic ride control will come standard on all Sierra Denali half-ton models, both the 5.3L engine version and the 6.2L engine version, the latter of which is the most powerful engine in the full-size truck segment. The Denali trim of the Sierra was designed to bring untold luxury and technology options to the full-size truck market, and magnetic ride control is simply the next great innovation added to the segment’s best and smartest truck. Come in to Wiesner of Huntsville today to check out the Sierra and the rest of the GMC lineup today!
Small SUVs seem to be all the rage right now. Chevrolet will soon be introducing the 2015 Chevy Trax to the automotive world, and even trucks are downsizing once again with the new 2015 GMC Canyon and Chevy Colorado. Buick has certainly been following this trend with the Encore, perhaps before the others even caught on, and there’s definitely no stopping its success! For the second year in a row, the new 2014 Buick Encore has achieved the highest rank in the small SUV segment in J.D. Power’s Initial Quality study.

The Encore has been one of Buick’s top sellers since its introduction in 2013, going along with their reputation as the highest-ranked brand for customer satisfaction with dealership service in the J.D. Power U.S. Customer Service Index study (see our previous blog post all about it).
The Initial Quality study is based on reviews and responses of more than 86,000 buyers and lessees of the 2014 Buick Encore, all seemingly satisfied with their small SUV. Our hats are off to you, Encore!
A few months back, the 2015 Corvette Z06 was revealed as the bowtie’s most track-capable Corvette ever. Much of that power comes from the muscle car’s all-new LT4 engine, a 6.2L V8, which easily eclipses the numbers of its predecessor, the LS7. The LT4, in fact, churns out 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque, incredible numbers for a production vehicle. It’s the most powerful engine ever put on the roads by Chevrolet.
“The LT4 Small Block sets a new benchmark for power and torque at GM,” said Steve Kiefer, vice president, GM Powertrain Engineering. “The engine also puts the new Corvette Z06 on par with the most powerful supercars offered in America, while delivering performance with impeccable manners that make it suitable for daily driving.”
The LT4 accomplishes all that with a remarkable sense of efficiency as well; it’s barely any larger than the Corvette Stingray’s LT1 engine, despite its much higher capability. The 650-Horsepower Z06, therefore, features one of the smallest and lightest engines in the exclusive supercar segment. Come by Wiesner of Huntsville to see the Z06 and the rest of the Corvette lineup today!
