Each year, WardsAuto puts together their list of the best car interiors, highlighting which new vehicles best blend comfort, function, and style on the inside. This year, the 2015 GMC Canyon was chosen as one of Ward’s 10 Best Interiors.
It’s no surprise to us that the 2015 Canyon would be placed on this coveted list. The vehicle is frequently considered to be one of the most luxurious in its class, while maintaining the affordability of a non-official “luxury” car.
This balance of price and quality is part of what put the 2015 Canyon on the list, according to the website’s editor-in-chief, who points out that “shoppers need not buy a loaded full-size pickup” to get everything the 2015 Canyon has to offer.
If you haven’t had the chance to snuggle yourself into a 2015 Canyon yet, we recommend you check it out here at Wiesner of Huntsville. Let us know your thoughts on the 2015 GMC Canyon interior in the comments.
GM Dealers Take Personal Delivery of New Truck for Customer Satisfaction
The new 2015 Chevrolet Colorado and 2015 GMC Canyon midsize pickup trucks are finally being delivered to Wiesner of Huntsville and other dealerships nationwide.
To show their commitment to quality and customer satisfaction, more than 125 Chevy and GMC dealer representatives traveled to General Motors’ Wentzville Assembly plant to take delivery of their first orders.
To celebrate and commemorate the occasion, thirty-seven of the new trucks were parked in the shape of a large GM logo on the Wentzville Assembly parking lot and photographed from a helicopter. Dozens of trucks, dealers, and VIPs met at the plant to celebrate the truck launch and dealer drive-away.
“Hosting a dealer drive away event helps build excitement and awareness for the trucks and those who build them,” said Kathy Federico, president of the Mid-America Chevy Dealers Local Marketing Association. “It’s a great opportunity to show off and highlight not only what the Colorado brings to St. Louis but also what the plant does for the local economy.”
The 2014 North American International Auto Show, taking place all week in Detroit, Michigan, housed the best-of-the-best of the automotive industry for spectators to see. In this group, of course, was the 2015 GMC Canyon, which made its official debut at the show. There’s no doubt this midsize pickup truck will dominate its segment of the market later this year.
The Canyon will be available in crew cab and extended cab models, and will feature a standard 2.5-liter, four-cylinder engine with 193 horsepower and automatic transmission. Some of the safety features will include a rearview camera, trailer sway control, forward collision alert, lane departure warning, and more. You’ll be more impressed, though, with the Canyon’s tech features, like an eight-inch color touch screen, IntelliLink, Bluetooth connectivity, and the list goes on. There’s not much more you could ask for in the 2015 GMC Canyon.
What do you think about the new midsize pickup truck? We sure can’t wait to lay our eyes on it when it goes on sale later this year. Check it out at the Detroit Auto Show here.
