If you’ve been thinking nothing gets more American than a big ol’ Chevy Silverado, you’re not the only one, but you’d be in for a big ol’ surprise.
Early in October, Chevrolet announced its new partnership with professional rodeo with the introduction of their own squad of rodeo stars.
So, meet Team Chevy Rodeo, a team of five of American rodeo’s highest fliers and toughest riders.
The team consists of Tuf Cooper, a 25-year-old Texas native and a prodigy of tie-down racing. Next is Fallon Taylor, a 34-year-old world champion barrel racer. Speaking of champion, the third member of Team Chevy Rodeo is Richmond Champion, 23, a bareback riding all-star who’s been riding bulls since the age of 13. The fourth Chevy champ is Luke Branquinho, 36, a steer wrestler (which is just as wildly dangerous as it sounds) who won his fifth world title in 2014. Finally, meet Travis Graves, 32, Chevy’s team roping, or heeling, competitor whose been winning those big titles since 2001.
To meet Team Chevy Rodeo is to meet one of the toughest, most daring, sets of people you’ve ever seen; keep an eye on these five! All of us at Wiesner of Huntsville sure will be!
