Finding a truck that is both dependable and fuel-efficient is difficult to do—unless you happen to be looking at the 2015 Chevrolet Silverado. Known as one of the most dependable pickup trucks on the market, the Silverado is now even tougher than ever with a trio of new fuel-saving Silverado engines to choose from, each offering more dependability than the next.

“Silverado is from the family of the most dependable, longest lasting full-size pickups on the road,” said John Fitzpatrick, Silverado marketing manager. “Our latest generation of Small Block engines help customers save money at the pump with engines that have been improved and by real-world experience.”

The three Small Block engines also use EcoTec3 technology, making it easier to get top-notch fuel efficiency. A 4.3-liter V6 is the first of the three, offering 285 horsepower and 305 lb-ft of torque, while achieving an EPA-rating of 24 mpg highway. For the 5.3-liter V8 engine, the power is boosted to 355 hp and 383 lb-ft of torque, while achieving 23 mpg highway. Finally, the most powerful engine option is a 6.2-liter V8, which churns out 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque, with a respectable 21 mpg highway.

With these engine options for the 2015 Silverado, there’s no reason you shouldn’t ask Santa for this pickup for Christmas. If you’re interested in testing these engines’ power, stop in to Wiesner of Huntsville today!
